Nicholas Snow, founder of ActionEqualsLife.com, is revealing that he became HIV positive in August of 2007, and holding a press conference to call attention to key issues such as the need for HIV testing and early intervention, the need for increased adherence to safer sex practices, and the rates of HIV infection among various communities in Asia and other parts of the world.
Snow is also using the press conference to spotlight passionate individuals involved in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
Appearing on the panel, among others, will be Narumol Sriyanond, Ph.D., and Tim G. Zajaros Jr., founder and co-founder respectively of Building for Life, a non-profit social activism group, currently producing a feature-length documentary about HIV/AIDS.
Dr. Narumol is also the director of Thai Women: Challenging AIDS, a passionate 10 minute short documentary film by Narumol Sriyanond, Ph.D., that interweaves personal stories of Northern Thai women with HIV/AIDS, who use their creative and spiritual strength to challenge the societal stigma of the disease.
